Manufacturing Applications Engineer
| As a leading Autodesk Education Partner, Genesis Datacomp is looking for a seasoned APPLICATIONS ENGINEER to support the sale and promotion of Autodesk's suite of Educational products, training and consulting services to potential Institutions within the assigned territory.
Job Title: Applications Engineer
This position plays a vital role in positioning Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions in the minds and hearts of consumers. As a key member of the sales process, the Application Engineer provides the technical proof that prospects need to provide them with a compelling reason to select Autodesk for their solutions. Excellent presentation and communication skills are required within this key role.
Job Responsibilities:
-Assess and audit client needs and requirements.
- Deliver technical software application demonstrations for clients and marketing events.
- Develop sales guides and collateral to provide tools to the Sales Professional to assist them in communicating the value of the product presented.
- Identify and articulate, in writing, the Return on Investment a prospect can expect to gain from the proposed solution(s).
- Develop and maintain support of local user communities.
- Support clients in post-sales environment.
Work Experience Requirements:
- Expert level knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
- Minimum of one year experience in mechanical engineering
- Working Knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Mechanical
- Microsoft Office and Windows Operating system knowledge required

Civil Engineering Application Engineer
| Overview of position:
Provide technical support, training, and consulting services for Autodesk Revit Structure.
Responsibilities:
- Provide pre and post sales technical support for AutoCAD, Revit Structure
- Conduct customer training for the above products.
Participate in seminars, workshops, trade shows, and user groups.
- Maintain high customer retention rate by having a focus on follow-through and service.
Expectations for Applicant:
- Minimum one year work experience as a designer or Civil engineer using AutoCAD or Land Desktop & Structural Analysis Packages
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional behavior and attitudes with clients and coworkers
- Personal initiative in promoting services such as training, support contracts, and implementation
- Flexibility in helping with the many tasks we all share in a small company environment
- Personal commitment to initiative, integrity, company goals of customer service and technical expertise

Marketing
| Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, executing, and measuring Genesis' marketing strategy with the following objectives:
- Build a strong Genesis Civil engineering brand
- Increase awareness of product and service offering
- New client acquisition
- Existing client retention and growth of relationship
- Articulate GDPL's differentiation from other resellers in a competitive market
- Evaluate and select appropriate tactics for achieving these objectives
- Personal responsibility for executing various marketing tasks (e.g. seminars, workshops, event coordination, etc.)
Expectations for Applicant:
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Understanding of marketing strategy and hands-on execution of marketing events
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional behavior and attitudes with clients and coworkers
- Flexibility in helping with the many tasks we all share in a small company environment
